Christina Thacker focuses her practice on employment litigation, defending employers against claims alleging gender, race, national origin, disability, and workers' compensation discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliation, sexual harassment, interference with family and medical leave laws, wage and hour violations, as well as claims alleging breach of employment agreements, including non-competition agreements. She also regularly advises employers on various employment law issues, including the above topics and family and medical leave issues under state and federal laws. In addition to employment law, Christina has also assisted employers with labor relations issues, such as defending employers against unfair labor practices and representing them before the National Labor Relations Board. She has also handled a variety of general civil litigation matters, which have included issues as varied as professional malpractice claims, commercial disputes, torts, and environmental litigation. Christina is also an Instructor for the Labor Relations course offered at Portland State University's Professional Development Center. She earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan. Christina is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.
