Ashley Morgan is law clerk at Barran Liebman and a recent graduate of Brooklyn Law School. During her time at Brooklyn Law she focused her studies on labor and employment law and served as Vice President of the school’s Labor and Employment Law Association.

Prior to joining Barran Liebman, Ashley gained experience in employment law both in the public-interest and private practice settings in New York. During her time with The Legal Aid Society’s Employment Law Unit, she worked on matters involving unemployment insurance, wage-and-hour claims, protected leave, and workplace discrimination. She later served as a law clerk in New York, where she conducted legal research, drafted pleadings and motions, and assisted with discovery and case strategy across a range of employment litigation matters.

Ashley draws on her experience in different employment law settings to consider both the legal and practical issues employers face in the workplace. As a Portland native, she is excited to return home and contribute to the community where her interest in labor and employment law first began.
