Brooke Eide is a member of Barran Liebman’s employment law team. Brooke brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to her practice, with experience representing employers and individuals in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Her background in both private practice and the Oregon Court of Appeals provides her with a well-rounded perspective that she uses to help clients navigate complex workplace and legal issues and enables her to provide clients with practical, thoughtful, and business-minded guidance and develop strategies tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Brooke’s experience includes advising business clients and individuals on employment law matters and conducted legal research on substantive and procedural civil issues. She has drafted and finalized pleadings for an array of civil legal issues including employment law and business litigation. Brooke also served as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Scott A. Shorr of the Oregon Court of Appeals. In that role, she conducted legal research on substantive and procedural legal issues, drafted memoranda analyzing research projects, and drafted and finalized a judicial opinion. Brooke also served as a Student Intern with the Lewis & Clark Small Business Legal Clinic, where she worked directly with business owners on a variety of legal matters, including drafting employment contracts, handbooks, and hiring materials and advising clients on forming and registering limited liability companies.

Brooke earned her J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School. She also participated in the University of Oklahoma College of Law Oxford Summer Program in 2022 and earned her B.S. in Business Marketing from Oregon State University in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, Brooke was involved with Alpha Gamma Delta and Be The Match at Oregon State University. She currently serves as a Board Member of the MBA Young Lawyers Section where she was awarded the Multnomah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Merit Award. Outside of her legal practice, Brooke enjoys staying active through barre3 and yoga, experimenting with vegan cooking, and being outdoors with her husky, Matias.
