Zach Summers is a law clerk at Barran Liebman, where he assists attorneys with legal research, drafting employment policies, creating client training materials, and case management.
Zach is currently completing his J.D. at Lewis & Clark Law School, where he serves as an Associate Editor on the Lewis & Clark Law Review and works as a research assistant to Professor Charlie Martel. He brings practical litigation experience developed through his work with the Oregon Department of Justice’s Appellate Division, where he contributed to appellate briefing before the Oregon and United States Supreme Courts and Courts of Appeals. He also brings judicial experience as an Oregon Supreme Court extern in the chambers of the Honorable Bronson D. James.
Prior to law school, Zach supported partnership development, leadership engagement, and organizational initiatives at USC Shoah Foundation, a global leader in Holocaust education. He earned his B.A. in history with Honors from the University of Southern California, where he minored in screenwriting, playwriting, and cinematic arts.
